This is Halloween

We started off our Halloween by going to help my mom do Taylor's lunch group
We worked and worked and worked to make awesome Halloween food
I don't know that they really cared what it looked like but we tried
I made these owl cupcakes for dessert
I saw them in my cupcake book I got in July and have been wanting to make them ever since
I was glad to finally have an excuse to make them
I love them!
I think they are so dang adorable!

Here is all the food
We made mummies(pigs in a blanket)
eyeballs(pizza roll things)
and ghosts(potatoes)
The eyeball pizza things were delicious!
I ate like 5 when the kids left!

Mark got off work early to go trick or treating with us
I was so excited to take Gray all day
I knew she would love it
We weren't sure how the costume would go given the first time we tried to get her to wear it
but she loved it this time!
She was so good the whole time and loved carrying around her bucket like a purse
We went to Bashas and the Stake Center and did the trunk or treating and had some cotton candy!

We ran out of candy so fast at the trunk or treat!
There were a lot of people there
We borrowed Gray's costume from my sister Kristen because we didn't have anything else
it was a hit!
We got so many compliments on how cute she was!
I have to agree!

The only house we went to was my parents
Gray knocked on the door...

I love this picture!
She loves my parents and they love her!
My dad let her pick about 20 candy bars out of their bowl because she was having so much fun

Gray was holding her bucket in the car and when we got home
we found this!
She chewed right through the wrapper!

and she didn't like me taking her picture!
Gray ate maybe 2 pieces of candy and she was wired!
Now I know why I don't let her eat sugar a lot!
I do love having a baby so I have an excuse to join in on all the Halloween fun!

I love all of your new post! The picture of Gray crying cause she didn't want her picture taken cracks me up! She is so stinkin' cute! You always do SO good at keeping up with your blog. Every time I look at it I tell myself I need to get back with it...maybe one day! :) Keep yours up though, cause I am always checkin' it out!

ps. I am totally going to attempt those owl cupcakes for Paisley's upcoming b-day! Probably won't be near as cute :/

I notice that she is eating a butterfinger. She must have learned from me. This is Sydney by the way.
