She sure is a sweet mess

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my little girl?

She is just too much fun these days

and sometimes knows just how to push her mom's buttons

but I still love her to death and she makes me laugh all the time

While at Mark's mom's house Gray got this lipstick.

Her grandma took out the lipstick so she wouldn't make a mess

Gray just learned she could stick her finger in it and still get some!

Last week we were at my parents during Family Home Evening

We knelt to say a prayer around the ottoman

Gray had been praying on her little chair ever since

She kneels next to it...jabbers some stuff then says "Amen"

It melts my heart every time

Gray wanted a picture taken of her puppy

She took Mark to my camera and said puppy picture

Man is she cute

and it has been so nice here we have been able to spend some time outside

Mark's brother gave us this jeep and so now Gray has a 4-wheeler and a jeep

She loves this thing!

her hair fits in a ponytail!

She is getting way too big

Gray is my daughter for sure

She wanted her ball in the seat next to her 

but it was not allowed to touch her so Mark had to hold it

It is frustrating when things don't go your way!

Gray also likes to play with sticks that are bigger than her

She calls them poking sticks!

and that is what we have been doing around here

just enjoying our cute little girl

and counting down the days until we get to find what the next one is

One week!

We only like to vacation in Globe

Not really!

It seems as though it is the only place we have gone the last couple of months

We are not complaining though

We love spending time with Grandma Delletta and Papa

and they live 20 minutes outside of Globe so it's quite and not so bad!

Mark's mom rented a backhoe this last weekend so we headed down so Mark could help her run it

Gray even got to help run it for awhile 

She liked it the first time but after getting up there again with a scared look on her face she decided it wasn't for her

She just watched from a distance and played in the dirt!

Little Miss Randi even came out to play with Gray

Grandma gave them cups and spoons and they had a blast

There favorite was to put dirt on Randi's little stuffed cat though!

I also remembered I have been horrible at taking pictures of my belly this pregnancy

I was so good with Gray and now I never remember

So I finally took a few pictures

They are horrible but so are all pictures of me! haha

Here I am almost 17 weeks!

My belly has definitely popped out in the last week

Sometimes we dress up

We spend a lot of time in our comfy clothes at our house

I only wear jeans when I leave the house and sometimes not even then

Gray has one pair of jeans and I hardly put them on her because jeans aren't cozy

As a kid I wore stretch pants until the 6th grade.

I hated jeans

Now I tolerate them and prefer them to the dress pants I wore when working

But my sweatpants have my heart

and so Gray wears sweats and leggings every day too

Sometimes we do something with ourselves

But most the time we look like this...

Gray doesn't like it when I take her picture as much anymore!

If she is not in the mood then this is what I get!

Sundays are one day we always leave looking our best

and sometimes Gray sits still long enough for me to do her hair

I did a little twist here

I even did it to my own hair

It was my first attempt so don't judge

and yes my hair is thicker than thick right now

Thank you pregnancy!

and sometimes Gray even gives me a cute smile!

The moral of the story is....

if you want to see us looking half way decent

then you better come by on Sunday!

and you still might catch us in out sweats!

Valentine's Day was a success!

My favorite thing about Valentine's Day is that we always had pink heart pancakes growing up

I think I love this because pancakes are my all time favorite breakfast food

On Saturday I made pancakes and made them pink and hearts since Mark was around!

Gray's Grandpa Mark brought her Valentine's cards and suckers

She saw him write on a couple then she became and expert

She was so cute concentrating writing on just the perfect spot of the card

(She only wrote on the to and from part..a little scribble signature!)

She did not want me to take pictures of her hard at work

Our Valentine's pancakes were so good on Saturday

we had them again on the real Valentine's day

Only this time we had strawberries and blueberries with them

Quite delicious! I even used my love mug for milk

Mark brought home a giant balloon and a box of chocolates for Gray

She went to town on the chocolates!

Good thing it was a small box!

she loves this balloon

She had to take it with her to go hang out with Taylor while her mom and dad had dinner alone!

Mark and I decided to stay in and cook together

We just made nachos and hot wings but they were delicious

I have been loving cheesecake lately and I splurged on the sample platter

It was amazing and I won't tell  you how many pieces I ate!

I made Mark some chocolate covered strawberries.

To buy 4 they were $7 dollars at Safeway

I bought a whole container for $1.50 melted a few chocolate chips

and we got a lot more bang for our buck!

Mark bought me tulips and an awesome book to help me study the Book of Mormon

We had lots of fun being able to relax and enjoy dinner but we always miss our little girl

We went and got her and shared dessert with her!

We are now all full of love at our house...

or maybe it is cheesecake?

I might have gotten a little out of control

I have been blessed with not being sick the 2 pregnancies that I have had

The only thing that makes me sick is if I go without eating for more than a couple of hours

and this time around if I don't eat enough protein I feel sick all day long

This baby sure likes the food!

This can be a blessing but also a curse.

I did so well the first month or so with my eating so that I wouldn't put on any unneeded weight

and then I went from wanting hot and salty to sweet all the time

and the problems started

I love sweets but I limit myself on them for obvious reasons

Well for the past month or so I have been eating sweets and dessert pretty much every day!

I knew I should be doing better but in my head I thought I am pregnant....what the heck!

I also knew I had put on weight and I shouldn't have but I was okay

Then I went to the doctor this week

and my suspicions of how much weight I had gained was confirmed

and I was so mad at myself

I am okay with gaining weight but I know it was under my control at this time

and it just ticks me off I got out of control

So last night I threw away all of the cookies and junk food in my house

because pretending like it wasn't there was not working for my pregnant brain

and I am limiting my sweets intake once again!

Plus I have been feeling pretty crappy with all the junk I have been eating

and it has not helped my rather low energy levels

So here is to turning over a new leaf

and back to lots and lots of fruit every day for me!

And probably hot sauce because the stuff is so dang delicious!

This child is going to come out fire breathing!

P.S. I got to see my little baby again at my doctor's appointment. 

Portable ultrasound machine...best invention ever!

Next appointment we get to find out what the little booger is!

I can't wait!

My goofy girl

I have been so out of it lately

I haven't documented any of the cute stuff that Gray does these days

Now lets see if I can remember any of it!

This little girl has quite the personality!

She is constantly making me laugh!

She can talk your ear off

and is full of energy

she runs, jumps, and dances all day long!

She also is very loud!

If I don't pay attention to her she yells "mommy" until I turn and look at her

She copies everything I do

She goes with me to exercise class and so her dancing these days looks a lot like aerobics

She loves to make people laugh

She constantly tells Mark or me "dad poopy" because she knows it is funny!

She puts together 2 or 3 words a lot and I love that she can communicate with me

Gray got some glasses for Christmas and she likes to wear them on her head like this...

She also likes to run from her dad and wait for him to get her off her table

She giggles and squeals and it is too cute

We have been taking advantage of the warm days and took her 4-wheeler outside

She loved it

but after about 5 minutes she ended up in the dirt of course!

Sometimes when Gray is going to bed or down for a nap she likes to say bye to random things

She often has to tell her 4-wheeler bye before heading off to bed!

She never tells her parents bye...just the toys and herself in the mirror!

Man I love her!
